good explanation good examples very didactic
The course really gives you an inside view on Ruby. John does a great job showing the steps.
This book along with the udemy video series has helped a ton. Which for me is difficult being medically attention deficit. As well as John avoiding technical jargon that no beginner will understand. Thank you John for this skillset. I'm looking to get out of a career that is admin and out into a creative technical field.

very nice and clear intro to ruby, read it in just a couple days, and reinforced the little amount of ruby I already had studied and learned a few new tricks too. the book itself has a couple typos but its not a good enough reason to reduce the rating of the content!
